Long Term Disaster Recovery Committee Looking for Volunteers

Walker County’s Long-Term Disaster Recovery Committee is looking for individuals, groups, businesses and churches to assist residents after local disasters.

Volunteers are asked to come out and share their talents to the community in times of need. There are subcommittees in Case Management, Communication, Construction, Donations, Policies, Unmet Needs and Volunteers. The next meeting is Thursday, September 29th at 6 PM at the Walker County Storm Shelter.
