Olympic Committee Apologizes for Swimmers

Published on August 19, 2016 by Larry Crippen

Thursday, the U-S Olympic Committee passed along their apologies for the incident in Rio that involved four of its swimmers in what police there call a false report of a robbery.

Jack Feigen was required to pay $10,800 dollars in order to leave Rio De Janeiro.

U-S Olympic athletes Gunnar Benz and Jack Conger began their flight back to the United States around 24 hours after being taken off a plane by the police to explain their story.

Ryan Lochte had left the country earlier in the week. Authorities say the athletes tore up a gas station restroom.
