In Huntsville Police news, on the day shift last Friday in the 200 block of I-45 South Chase Dewitte and Kendall Smith were arrested for theft greater than $2,500 to less than $30,000.

On the day shift Saturday, in the 5000 block of Sam Houston Avenue an unknown suspect entered a residence and committed a sexual assault and stole items. A known suspect assaulted a person in the 600 block of 6th Street.

On the day shift Sunday, an unknown suspect stole credit cards from a vehicle in the 3300 block of Bent Bough Park. In the 2500 block of Pine Shadows Drive, an unknown suspect stole shoes and change from a vehicle.

On the night shift Sunday, a known suspect assaulted a victim at the intersection of Gospel Hill and State Highway 75 North. At the intersection of 9th Street and University Avenue, Charles Grigsby and Walter Gonzales were arrested for fraudulent use of identifying information, and Matthew Cooley was arrested for unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon and theft of a firearm.
