Fox News has parted ways with their highly successful commentator Bill O’Reilly following allegations of sexual harassment.
Parent company 21st Century Fox has reported that, “After a thorough and careful review of the allegations, the company and Bill O’Reilly have agreed that Bill O’Reilly will not be returning to the Fox News Channel.”
On April 1st, the New York Times reported that O’Reilly or Fox forked over $13 million to settle five cases which allege sexual harassment or other harassment against him.
On Wednesday, O’Reilly said his parting with the company is “due to completely unfounded claims.”
On Monday, Fox will broadcast Tucker Carlson’s program one hour earlier in O’Reilly’s former time slot at 8 PM eastern time.
