John Ray Falk, Jr. May Represent Himself

The Huntsville Item reports that on Monday Judge Bill McAdams at a hearing in Lufkin for TDCJ inmate John Ray Falk, Jr. ruled that Falk may represent himself following Falk’s passing of two competency evaluations. Falk is accused of murdering a TDCJ correctional officer during an attempted escape nine years ago.

In that case, Walker County District Attorney David Weeks said that, so far, 30 potential jurors had been qualified.
