City Council To Meet Tonight

The Huntsville City Council will have a special meeting Tuesday at 6 o’clock in the city chambers. City fathers will also be meeting earlier at 5:15 for a work session centered around the adoption of Ordinance 2018-04 to change the Development District Classification of the approximate 66-acres at 907 Hwy 19 from Management to Planned Development.

During the special session, council will canvass the November 7th election results, hear the first reading on Ordinance 2018-04 that was discussed in the work session, and consider awarding the purchase of Street Milling/Overlay services from Smith and Company in the amount of $1, 091, 809 dollars.

The city council will also go into executive session to discuss a piece of real estate bounded on Hwy 19, Old Colony Road, Geneva Road and Hwy 190. The will also meet in executive session with City Attorney Leonard Schneider to receive legal advice in litigation for the City of Huntsville vs Petersen Dean Texas regarding the Wynne Home.
