Looking back over the past week in Huntsville Police news, on the day shift last Friday a vehicle was reported stolen in the 600 block of I-45 South. A residential burglary was investigated in the 1500 block of Dogwood Drive.

On the night shift Friday, a known person was arrested for assault in the 900 block of Avenue H. In the 2200 block of Sam Houston Avenue, Adam Shepherd was arrested for theft.

On Saturday’s day shift, a firearm was reported stolen from a vehicle in the 1500 block of 11th Street. An unknown person stole property in the 400 block of McCollum Lane. An aggravated assault involving a firearm was reported in the 800 block of Birmingham. In a case of aggravated assault, a known person assault another person with a hammer in the 1000 block of MLK.

On the night shift Saturday, Bernard Crosby was arrested in the 1300 block of Avenue C for evading with prior convictions and possession of a controlled substance. At the same location, Noe Cepeda Jr. was arrested for no driver’s license and paraphernalia.

On Sunday’s day shift, Robert Poole was arrested for aggravated assault in the 1000 block of MLK.

On the night shift Sunday, in the 1000 block of I-45 South an unknown person forced entry into a business and stole items. An unknown person assaulted another in the 2500 block of Pine Shadows Drive. In the 200 block of I-45 South, Janell Williams was arrested for a Brazos County warrant and for two counts of possession of a controlled substance. At the same location, Robert Dortch was arrested for two counts of possession of a controlled substance.

On the night shift Monday, a vehicle burglary was investigated in the 100 block of I-45 South.
