Sexual Harassment Suit Filed Against HPD Officers

Published on May 18, 2017 by Larry Crippen

KBTX Channel 3 reports that former Huntsville police officer Kimberly Webb says she lost her job with HPD as result of her filing complaints of sexual harassment against other officers.

Ms. Webb says she was a victim of inappropriate text messages, sexual pranks and physical contact that was uncomfortable.

The news organization contacted HPD and reported “officials said they couldn’t comment because it’s an internal matter.”

Ms. Webb told KBTX her goal in the end was for the Huntsville Police Department “to be a better department for the community.”
