State of the City Address Delivered at Storm Shelter Thursday Night

The City of Huntsville presented the 2017 State of the City Address last night at the Storm Shelter.

Mayor Andy Brauninger and City Manager Matt Benoit delivered a comprehensive view of what has been happening in the city fiscally and in regard to tangible construction growth.

Mayor Brauninger told those in attendance that there is a little over $100 million in construction growth being built.

City Manager Matt Benoit looked ahead to 2018.

He said, “For 2018, I would tell you that implementation of the bond project is probably going to dominate the council’s agenda.”
