Published on January 02, 2018 by Larry Crippen

The Huntsville City Council will meet for a regular session this evening at six at City Hall. Before the regular session begins, there will be a Work Session at 5:15 PM where councilmembers will discuss the proposed Huntsville Animal Shelter.

The council will consider authorizing the City Manager to sign an interlocal agreement with the City of Conroe for the sheltering of animals and move to reject a Competitive Sealed Proposal for construction of an animal shelter.

There will also be discussion and possible action on authorizing the City Manager to negotiate with Legacy Builders for the finish-out construction of an animal shelter for an amount not to exceed $350,000.

Councilmembers will also meet in closed executive session to discuss matters regarding an interim City Manager.
