Safety Town Repairs Needed

July 28 - August 28

Huntsville’s “Safety Town” is a miniature town located on the back side of Kate Barr Ross Park on Highway 75 North. The facility consists of small-scale versions of streets, houses, buildings, traffic lights and stop signs. Safety Town is designed to allow youngsters to learn about safety issues such as fire safety, bus safety, drug awareness and traffic safety. The existing structures in Safety Town have not aged well, and are in need of repair and/or replacement. Huntsville’s Rotary Club is asking for your support in an effort to raise funds to pay for the work needed. The goal of the club is $2,000. For more information e-mail: mstenfert@yahoo.com.
