Huntsville Youth Football League

Online registration is underway for the fall season of the Huntsville Youth Football League. The online registration will continue through July 1. Bearkat Football 2017 Season Tickets Now Available

March 16 - August 31

Season tickets for the upcoming season of SHSU Bearkat football are now on sale – and all 2016 season-ticket holders receive 1st priority to renew their same seat. Obtaining season tickets also guarantees priority to purchase your same seat for any NCAA playoff games hosted at Bowers Stadium, and guarantees the opportunity to purchase a like amount of tickets for the FCS national championship game. YMCA Summer Camps

May 8 - June 30

Summer camps begin May 30 and continue for 12 weeks with the Huntsville Family YMCA. The summer camps offer youth a fun & safe atmosphere where they can enjoy their summer break. The Y’s summer day camp is for children between 5 & 12 years old. Prices range from $125 to $140 per week, plus a $35 registration fee. Community Organization for Missionary Endeavor

Huntsville’s Community Organization for Missionary Endeavor (C.O.M.E.) is in need of donations this spring. Items needed include children’s & adult clothing and shoes. Town Creek Drainage Project

May 26 - June 4

Progression of the Town Creek Drainage Project in downtown Huntsville is bringing a lot of changes to roads in that area of town. The most challenging area will be along South Sam Houston Avenue in the block between 13th & 14th Streets. Thomas Lake Road VFD Memorial Weekend Fish Fry

The Thomas Lake Road Volunteer Fire Department invites you to its annual Memorial Weekend Fish Fry. The event is set for 11am-2pm May 28 – and will feature catfish, fries, coleslaw, dessert & iced tea. Adult plates will be priced at $9, children ages 6 to 10 can eat for $4, children under 6 eat free. A cake auction will take place at 12:30pm.
