The Huntsville Public Library will host a free 5-week “Citizenship Preparation Course” from 6-8:30pm on Tuesdays in April. The course – which is being offered in conjunction with SHSU’s Center for Law, Engagement & Politics – is designed to prepare immigrants for the U.S. Naturalization test. SHSU invites you to join in on their annual “Leadercast Broadcast” set for May 9. This live closed-circuit video presentation will feature such speakers as Archbishop Desmond Tutu, former 1st Lady Laura Bush and many others from across a wide range of leaders in the U.S. & the world. Registration is underway for the upcoming season of the Huntsville Family YMCA’s T-Ball & Coach-Pitch Baseball. The program is open to kids ages 4 through 8. Registration fee is $75 per player – financial assistance is available for families who qualify. Games begin in April. The deadline for registration is March 21.
