The Huntsville City Council met in regular session last night at City Hall. An important item on the evening’s agenda that they focused on was their search for a new City Manager.
The search committee chairman, Councilmember Keith Olson, said they “as a body, decided we would take 5 different firms from a long list we culled out . . . .”
The Council decided to have the search firms come in on the 19th of June for a workshop beginning at 5 PM, with each being allowed a 15-minute presentation, followed by a 15-minute question-and-answer session. The Council’s regular meeting will follow at 8 PM.
Councilmember James Fitch commented further on how the chosen search firm will be utilized . . . .
