ACM Lifting Lives, the charitable arm of the Academy of Country Music, has announced that the June theme for its monthly ‘My Cause’ web feature is St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. The monthly feature drives awareness and supports fundraising efforts of artist-supported charitable endeavors. This month’s feature includes Eli Young Band and Chris Young.
At the 2012 ACM Awards, ACM Lifting Lives encouraged artists to speak on camera about their favorite charities. My Cause allows ACM Lifting Lives to demonstrate the Academy’s support of country music artists. Over the past two years, the organization has donated more than $45,000 to charities through the My Cause program.
My Cause: St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital’ highlights the one-of-a-kind hospital that works to advance cures and means of prevention for pediatric diseases through research and treatment. To watch the June My Cause video, visit ACMLiftingLives.org.
