In Huntsville Police news, on the night shift last Saturday a residential burglary was investigated in the 5000 block of Sam Houston Avenue. In the 600 block of 11th Street, a 32-year-old woman was arrested for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. In the 100 block of I-45 South, a 36-year-old man was arrested for theft with two previous convictions and criminal trespass.
On the night shift Sunday, two residential burglaries were investigated–one in the 2100 block of Sycamore, the other in the 100 block of Yegua Circle. In the 200 block of FM 247 a 39-year-old man was arrested for injury to a child.
On Monday’s day shift, unknown suspects forced entry into several storage units and stole items in the 200 block of 16th Street. In the 1400 block of Avenue C, police report that a known suspect was reported to have entered a building and taken property. A vehicle burglary was also investigated on Howard Circle. In the 100 block of I-45 South, a 26-year-old man was arrested for theft, warrants for theft, criminal trespass, harassing communication, and failure to identify as a fugitive from justice.
On the night shift Monday, a residential burglary was investigated in the 2700 block of Montgomery Road.
