Twelve years ago today, two hijacked jets crashed into the World Trade Center buildings in New York City killing 3,000 innocent people. Others died as a result of terrorists in Pennsylvania and at the Pentagon.
Loved ones of the victims were scheduled to meet today at ground zero to commemorate the attacks’ anniversary. Also, volunteers numbering in the thousands will honor September 11th vicitms today with doing good deeds around the world.
On September 14th, 2001, former President George W. Bush stood at ground zero amidst the wreckage of the World Trade Center and made a promise to Americans . . . .
