Advanced Emergency Management Training Given Locally in October

October 21st through 23rd, employees from the City, Walker County, SHSU, HISD, and TDCJ participated in advanced emergency management training, created by FEMA, at the Walker County Storm Shelter.

Texas A&M Forest Service facilitated the training. Three days were spent by the employees learning the process of managing emergency situations. Walker County Emergency Management Coordinator Butch Davis viewed the process as a successful endeavor.
