City Council Approves Funds for Downtown Fire Station Restoration

Published on September 19, 2013 by Larry Crippen

At this week’s regular session of the Huntsville City Council, councilmembers approved $75,000 dollars for further restoration and repair of the downtown fire station. More funds will need to be allocated in the future for ADA compliance and other improvements.

Huntsville Fire Chief Tom Grisham hopes EMS will eventually locate at the downtown facility . . . .
