The Huntsville City Council held a regular session last night at City Hall.
One of the major topics for discussion was an historic preservation ordinance. The council did not pass the measure by a vote of 5 to 3. Several felt the measure needed more discussion.
World War II prisoner of war veteran J.P. Richardson was awarded by the City Council last night with a POW flag that was raised by the City on September 20th. Mr. Richardson spent 14 months in a prisoner of war camp in Germany . . . .
