Sam Houston Memorial Museum Honors Memory of Sam Houston Beginning Tonight

Tonight and tomorrow the Sam Houston Memorial Museum will be honoring the memory of Sam Houston with the 150th Anniversary of Sam Houston’s Death and Funeral.

Museum Historical Interpreter Danielle Brissette tells us more . . . .

Between 9 AM and 1:30 PM Saturday, special displays from Hal Simon and the National Museum of Funeral History will be featured in the Wigwam Neosho. From 1:30 to 2:00, there will be a Masonic Funeral in the Main Museum Rotunda followed by closing remarks at two.
