Some Fireworks Restrictions Still in Effect for Unincorporated Areas of County

Walker County officials remind everyone in the county that back on the 9th of December Walker County Commissioners’ Court determined that the normal danger of fire in the unincorporated areas of the county was greatly enhanced by extremely dry conditions.

So, until January 2nd the court has ordered that a person may not sell, detonate, ignite, or in anyway use fireworks classified as “skyrockets with sticks” or “missles with fins” in any portion of the unincorporated area of Walker County.
