Ag Commissioner Staples Talks About Heatstroke In Vehicles

I don’t have to remind you how hot it has been in Texas recently.

Texas Ag Commissioner Todd Staples tells us that “Texas was number one in vehicular heat stroke deaths between 1998 and 2013.”

Commissioner Staples passes along an important reminder . . . .

Staples says, “Parents can place a purse, backpack, briefcase, gym bag or even a cell phone in the back seat of their car. It should be something you’ll need at your next stop and can serve as a great reminder that your child is present in the car.”
