Friday and Saturday, Barbecue and Chili become a major focus at the Walker County Fair.
Friday, barbecue teams check in from 9 to 5. At five, the chief cooks meet. Briskets are tagged at 7 and barbecue teams are also in place.
On Saturday morning at 8, the chili teams move in. At 10:30, the barbecue cook-off entries judging begins. The Barbecue awards are at 4:30.
