CASA Needs Volunteers

Published on June 04, 2014 by Larry Crippen

The purpose of CASA of Walker, San Jacinto, & Trinity counties is to train volunteers to serve as advocates for the neglected, abused and abandoned children who are placed in the foster care system. They need ordinary people wanting to volunteer their time to help be a voice for the children who need it the most.

Their next 15 hour pre-service training starts Tuesday, June 10th.

If you are interested in attending the training, contact Erin Thompson for an application. If you have any questions, contact CASA of Walker County at 936-291-6363 or visit their new website
