The Huntsville City Council will meet for a regular session tonight at six at City Hall.
Previous to the main session, they will hold two work sessions beginning at 4:30 this afternoon. Intern Makeebba Deterville will present the Charter Action Registry project, and Public Works Director Carol Reed will present a report on the Transfer Station Feasibility Study.
Tonight’s “Consent Agenda” includes the second reading of an amendment to business regulations that changes the hours of operations of pawnshops and an amendment to the budget for the Solid Waste Cost of Service and Rate Design Study.
Tonight’s “Statutory Agenda” includes the possible approval of a contract for the design and contract administration of way-finding signage for the City, possible action on awarding a bid for the construction of waterline replacement projects, consideration of a bid for the construction of the Kate Barr Ross Park 4-plex parking lot and the consideration of a Chapter 380 agreement with BFI crossroads in regard to their purchase of 4.5 acres of the Ravenwood Subdivision.
City Manager Matt Benoit or his staff may also discuss local City projects.
