The Huntsville City Council is still in the process of revising the development code–manufactured homes and zoning a major topic for discussion last night.
City Development Director Aron Kulhavy filled councilmembers in on the present policy of manufactured homes being permitted in parks and approved management zones. He also asked for input.
Earlier in the meeting local citizen Charles Smither, Jr. raised his objection to restrictions on manufactured housing . . . .
Development Director Kulhavy also sought input on access easements. Access easements refer to a section of land that the City could access to allow utilities to traverse a property instead of around it. Work on a draft of the development code continues.
The Council also approved the waterline project contract for Highway 190 to 5-T Utilities.
