National Day to Prevent Teen Pregnancy

Published on May 07, 2014 by Larry Crippen

Today is the National Day to Prevent Teen Pregnancy. The teenage birth rate is higher in rural counties than in other areas of the country.

Today, and throughout the month of May, teens are encouraged to take the online National Day Quiz. The National Day Campaign to Prevent Teen and Unplanned Pregnancy’s teen website is at StayTeen.org.

To get involved locally, contact Walker County’s up2YOUth Teen Pregnancy Prevention Coalition at 936-294-2170.
