In Huntsville Police news, on the day shift last Thursday a known person violated a protective order in the 1700 block of Green Briar. A vehicle burglary was investigated in the 2000 block of Sam Houston Avenue.
On Thursday’s night shift, police were called to an assault causing injury in the 1400 block of Sycamore Avenue.
On Friday’s day shift, police were called to the 2000 block of 11th Street in a case involving an unknown suspect and forgery.
On the day shift Saturday, 59-year-old Charles Jackson was arrested for Delivery of a controlled substance in the 100 block of I-45 South.
On Saturday’s night shift, police investigated an assault in the 200 block of Geneva Road. Suspected narcotics were found in a residence in the 600 block of Normal Park Drive. At the same address a 24-year-old man was arrested for assault in family violence, and a 23-year-old woman was arrested for an outstanding municipal warrant.
On the day shift Sunday, two burglaries of buildings were investigated–both in the 1500 block of Sam Houston Avenue.
