Tamara Chasteen Chosen “Citizen of the Year”

Published on February 21, 2014 by Larry Crippen

At the Hearts Veterans Museum last night local craft artist and devoted volunteer for the Wynne Home Arts Center, Tamara Chasteen, was chosen as Citizen of the Year by previous winners of the Huntsville Item’s special award.

The other three finalists include Nancy Franklin, Michelle Spencer and Ron Fielding.

Indeed, Ms. Chasteen continues to live up to her new title as she passes along information on one of her many volunteer activities–The Empty Bowls Luncheon.

She tells us the Friends of the Wynne will be hosting the fifth annual Empty Bowls Luncheon March the 4th from 11 to 2 at the Wynne Home . . . .
