Commissioners’ Court Meets This Morning

Walker County Commissioners will meet at the courthouse for a regular session at nine this morning.

Tax Assessor Collector Diana McRae will present the petition for a Local Option Election for Justice of the Peace Precinct #1.

EMS Director John Nabors will discuss several items for approval:
–the 2014 Southeast Texas Regional Advisory Council, or SETRAC, County fund in the amount of $9,428.
–the 2014 local projects grant for $25,000.
–the reallocation of the SETRAC funds to the Minor Equipment Line.
–an additional purchase of EKG monitors.
–and, the signing of a contract with Tritech.com for billing software from budgeted funds.

Emergency Management Coordinator Butch Davis will discuss a Disaster Summary Outline for the 2015 flood event and the 2015 Hurricane Season.

County Purchasing Director Mike Williford will talk about approval of the Burns Architecture update and presentation for the renovation and repair of the Walker County Justice Center.

Planning & Development’s Annette Olivier will discuss the replat of a plat on O’Bannon Ranch Road and amending a plat at Texas Grand Ranch Estates.

Commissioners’ Administrative Secretary Sonja Tennant will discuss approval of the purchase of office chairs for the Commissioners’ and County Judge’s office. Administrative Assistant Sherri Pegoda will talk about approval of liability insurance for administrative acts for the District Judges.
