Court Security Issues Discussed By Commissioners Monday

Published on September 29, 2015 by Larry Crippen

In Commissioners’ Court Monday morning, commissioners considered a courthouse security project.

In addressing the court, County Auditor Patricia Allen said, “The two District Judges, and the County Court-at-Law judge and the County Judge have been visiting and trying to come up with some options that they think would be viable and would go a long way in making the courthouse more secure . . . . ”

Commissioners made a motion to approve setting aside $500,000 in funds allowing the judges to go ahead and get the information but not finalizing approval of the project.

Patricia Allen further explained what the motion meant . . . .

Commissioners approved the motion.
