A tragic auto accident last Saturday that claimed the lives of a Huntsville father and three of his children is still being investigated by Huntsville Police.

A Go Fund Me account has been established to help with funeral expenses for the children. All were residents of Huntsville. Authorities have not released the names of those involved in the accident, but the Go Fund Me account names Michael Blanks and his three children, Michaela age 9, Michael Jr age 8, and JaMichael age 7 as the passengers in a Toyota passenger vehicle that collided with a Dodge truck in the 200 block of Highway 19 in Huntsville. Police reports show the Blanks auto was traveling southbound on Highway 19 in the northbound lanes, when it collided head on with a Dodge pickup truck. The name of the driver of the truck has not be released.

Six year old JaMia Blanks was lifeflighted to Hermann Memorial Hospital in Houston in critical condition in the Pediatric ICU and no other information has been released.
