Walker County Commissioners will meet for a regular session this morning at nine.
Commissioners will hear from Kristin Hunter regarding accepting the donation of a 2016 Ford Explorer to the Adult Community Supervision and Corrections Department from the Leon County Sheriff’s Office.
Walker County Emergency Management Coordinator Butch Davis will talk about taking action in regard to accepting a donation to the Office of Emergency Management of Dell laptops.
From County Purchasing, Laura Buccafurni will address commissioners on taking action to approve an interlocal agreement between Walker County and Taylor County to participate in a jail pharmaceutical contract.
County Judge Colt Christian will engage in a presentation and discussion of the proposed Walker County Strategic Plan. He will also discuss taking possible action on the distribution of Southeast Texas Housing grant funds.
Commissioners will also have a Budget Workshop.
