Community Impacr reports that during a November 28th public meeting at the Woodforest Golf Club, at 1199 Fish Creek Thoroughfare Road in Montgomery, Burditt Consultants initial master plans for a community and nature center located on Fish Creek Thoroughfare were presented.
Montgomery County will get construction underway in 2024. Back on March 28th, county commissioners okayed a master plan analysis for a park that comprises 391 acres with 45 of the acres usable for amenities and parks.
Among the center’s features are:
–a multipurpose hall encompassing 3,412 square feet
–an exhibit hall availing 4,350 square feet
–classroom spaces offering 1,182 square feet
Also available at the center are kitchen areas and shower spaces.
Several rectangular sports fields, and three baseball fields are in the plans.
