Community Impact reports that several Montgomery and Conroe area city and school board positions are open for those who wish to apply. The filing period opened yesterday and continues through February 16th. May 4th is the day of the election.
Positions that people may apply for include:
Conroe Mayor held by Jody Czajkoski.
Conroe City Council, Place 1 held by Todd Yancey,
Conroe City Council, Place 2 held by Curt Maddux.
Montgomery Mayor held by Byron Sanford.
Montgomery City Council, Place 2 held by Casey Olson.
Montgomery City Council, Place 4 held Cheryl Fox.
Montgomery Board ISD Board of Trustees, Position 4 held by Trey Kirby.
MISD Board of Trustees, Position 5 held by Linda Porten.
Those wishing to file for the positions can get an application from the Texas Secretary of State’s website. Candidates may then file with the MISD Education Support Center on Eva Street or with the respective city secretaries.
