The College of Osteopathic Medicine at Sam Houston State University (SHSU-COM) will host its fourth annual research day on Nov. 1, bringing together student doctors, faculty and medical professionals for a day of innovation and academic achievement. This year’s event will showcase research by SHSU-COM’s student doctors, featuring poster and podium presentations on a variety of topics across four areas of research: biomedical sciences, clinical medicine/community health, medical education and osteopathic manipulative medicine.
The event will begin with a keynote address by Dr. Mark Hornstein, professor of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Biology at Harvard Medical School. An authority in reproductive endocrinology and infertility, Dr. Hornstein, will present on Lifestyle and IVF Outcomes during his speech.
