In local election races last night in Huntsville, we have the results:
For Huntsville city councilmember at large position 1
Erin Owens had 49.5% of the vote.
Bert Lyle picked up 50.4% of the vote.
For Huntsville city councilmember at large position 2
Lovie Cunningham came in with 46% of the vote
Karen M. Denman scored 54%.
For Huntsville city councilmember at large position 3
Vickie McKenzie picked up 63% of the vote.
Yolanda M. Scott got 36.7%.
For Huntsville city councilmember at large position 4
Pat Graham garnered 70.9 % of the vote.
Robby Logan came in with 29%.
In State Races:
For the Texas State House District 12
Trey Wharton won 77% of the vote for the District
Dee Howard Mullins picked up 23% of the vote.
For U.S. Senator for Texas
Ted Cruz had 53.25 of the vote
Colin Allred came in with 44.5%
–And, Donald J. Trump has been elected 47th President of the United States.
