In Huntsville Police news, looking back over the past several days:
Last Wednesday, a possibly known suspect stole a vehicle in the 500 block of Cherry Hills. In answer to an alarm in the 7000 block of State Highway 75 South, Christopher Metcalf was arrested for burglary of a building, evading, and unlawful use of a criminal instrument. A juvenile was arrested in the 200 block of Geneva Road for an aggravated robbery. In the 2500 block of Pine Shadows, Ely Hartshorn was arrested for forgery.
On Thursday, a theft was reported in the 200 block of FM 2821 West. In the 900 block of 11th Street, a known suspect used another’s identifying information. In the 200 block of Pecos Drive, a known person assaulted another person with their vehicle, causing minor injuries. An unknown person sexually assaulted a person, in the 100 block of I-45 South.
On Friday, a firearm was reported stolen in the 2600 block of El Toro. In the 3300 block of Powell an unknown person trespassed a vacant mobile home. In a case of aggravated assault, an unknown person exhibited a deadly weapon during an assault in the 3600 block of Montgomery Road. In the first 100 block of FM 247, Kadarius Major was arrested for possession of marijuana. In the 2300 block of Lake Road, Shelton Freeman was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and public intoxication.
On Saturday, in a case of criminal mischief, property was damaged in the 1200 block of Josey Street. A theft was reported in the 1400 block of Nottingham. A vehicle burglary was investigated in the 100 block of I-45 South. Huntsville PD assisted DPS with a traffic stop during a drug arrest on I-45 South. In the 100 block of Sara Lane, John Lingle was arrested for criminal trespass of a habitation. At the same address, Cassandra Proctor was arrested for Criminal Trespass of a habitation and fraudulent possession of identifying information.
On Sunday, police investigated a terroristic threat in the 1000 block of 12th Street.
Early Monday morning, in the 2400 block of Sam Houston Avenue, Don Rankin was arrested for possession of marijuana. At the same address, Christopher Vincent was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
