In Huntsville Police news, looking back over the past several days:
On Friday, construction supplies were stolen from a building in the 200 block of Monarch Trail. A residential burglary was investigated in the 2700 block of Chimney Rock Road. In the 2800 block of Sam Houston Avenue, a firearm was secured from a vehicle crash and the owner was transported by EMS.
On Saturday, a person threatened a family member in the 2300 block of Lake Road. An unknown suspect took property before securing payment in the 4000 block of Sam Houston Avenue. In the 1400 block of State Highway 30 East, Keasia Hackett was arrested for assault by threat in family violence. In the 1200 block of 12th Street, Shanga Delonce Jones was arrested for evading with previous convictions, and possession of a controlled substance.
On Sunday, a known person threatened another in the 2300 block of Lake Road. Property was reported stolen in the 2600 block of Sam Houston Avenue. A known suspect assaulted a family member on Howard Circle. In the 500 block of FM 2821 West, a known suspect possibly threatened to shoot people. A vehicle burglary was investigated in the 1400 block of Nottingham Street. At Lake Road and Sam Houston Avenue, Jarrod Kyle Munden was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and tampering with physical evidence. In the 2500 block of Lake Road, Ammiel Valuard Powell Jr. was arrested for criminal trespass of a habitation and public intoxication. In the 2400 block of Sycamore Avenue, Devin Michael Mitchell was arrested for possession of marijuana. Alex Jonathan Perez was arrested for public intoxication and possession of a controlled substance in the 2500 block of Lake Road.
On Monday, a vehicle burglary was investigated in the 2500 block of Lake Road. Two thefts were reported—one in the 600 block of Hayman and the other in the 500 block of FM 2821. A known suspect assaulted a person in the 500 block of FM 2821.
