In Huntsville Police news, looking back over the past several days:
Last Saturday, two known suspects assaulted a person in the 2600 block of El Toro.
On Sunday, an unknown person stole property in the 900 block of Veterans Memorial Parkway. A known suspect stole a person’s property in the 100 block of I-45 North. A known suspect assaulted a person in the 2900 block of Red Bird Lane. In the 600 block of Hayman Street, in a domestic case, Stanley Garmon was arrested for assault in family violence—impeding breath.
On Monday, in a case of criminal mischief, an unknown person damaged a vehicle in the 1200 block of 10th Street. Another criminal mischief case was investigated in the 900 block of 11th Street where an unknown person damaged a building. In an aggravated robbery, a person took property at gunpoint in the 2800 block of Lake Road. In the 500 block of FM 2821, a parent demanded a report on her child being assaulted. In the 2500 block of Lake Road, a known suspect entered a residence with intent to commit assault.
On Tuesday, in a case of criminal mischief in the 2300 block of Sam Houston, an unknown person keyed a vehicle. In an assault case, in the 3000 block of Sam Houston, a known suspect was reported to have impeded the breath of their victim. In the 100 block of I-45 South, Amber Nicole Murphy and a known juvenile were arrested for shoplifting. Murphy was also charged with possession of Meth and Paraphernalia and municipal warrants.
On Wednesday, in the 2000 block of 20th Street, an unknown person entered a vehicle and stole a firearm. At the same address, an unknown person stole a vehicle. In the 1300 block of Smither Drive, two unknown suspects attempted to steal a golf cart and caused damage. In the 1900 block of Avenue L ½, a known suspect caused injury to an elderly person. In the 500 block of FM 2821, Claudio. A. Alvarenga was arrested for possession of a controlled substance in a drug-free zone. In the 100 block of Essex Boulevard, Crystal Daniel was arrested for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
