In Huntsville Police news, looking back over the past several days:
Last Thursday, a possibly known suspect forcibly entered a church in the 1800 block of 19th Street and stole property. A known suspect assaulted a person in the 1700 block of 11th Street causing injury. Property was reported damaged in the 2800 block of Lake Road. In the 900 block of Avenue J, a known suspect was alleged to have threatened a victim with a deadly weapon. Also in the 900 block of Avenue J, Kevin Major was arrested on a Walker County Warrant for assault of a police officer, and was also arrested for possession of marijuana and possession of a controlled substance. In the 500 block of Bowers Boulevard, David Paul Peltier was arrested for assault.
On Friday, a vehicle burglary was reported in the 900 block of University. An unknown suspect was reported to have committed an act of lewdness in the 400 block of I-45 South. In the 800 block of FM 2821, a known suspect stole a mini excavator and trailer.
On Saturday, in a case of criminal mischief, a known suspect damaged a person’s vehicle in the 200 block of Johnson Road.
On Sunday, in a case of criminal mischief, property was damaged in the 600 block of Avenue H. In the 2900 block of Angier road, a possibly known suspect burglarized a vehicle. In the 1800 block of Rollingwood, multiple unlocked vehicles were entered resulting in two firearms stolen. In the 900 block of Avenue J, unknown suspects threatened a person during a theft.
