Walker County Emergency Management reported that as of earlier this afternoon roads were starting to close due to heavy rain. Use caution in all the areas that have the potential to flood with heavy rains. Roads closed in Precinct 2 earlier include:
– Loma Rd. at the branch that feeds the San Jacinto River
–Birdwell Rd. at the branch that feeds the San Jacinto River
–Morgan Rd. at the branch that feeds the San Jacinto River
–And, Bowden Rd. at Robinson Creek . Drivers are advised to “Turn around, don’t drown.”
