Community Impact reports that in Conroe and Montgomery there are a number of events planned that everyone is invited to this weekend.
On April 27h and 28th, from 10 to 4, the Lake Conroe Boat Show will be happening at the Margaritaville Lake Resort on Lake Conroe at 600 Margaritaville Parkway in Montgomery. A number of well-known brands of boats will be on display. Admission is free. Check out their website at texasboatsandoutdoors.com.
From 11 AM to 1 PM, on April 27th, the Worthington Manor of Conroe Cajun Fest and Car show will be held at 1999 Lakes of Wedgewood Drive in Conroe. Admission is free. They’ll feature music, prizes, food, entertainment and tours. Their website is at meridiansenior.com.
If you’re interested in safely disposing your documents, come to the Conroe Document Shredding and Recycling Event on April 27th from 9 AM to Noon. It’ll be held at the Conroe Public Works Department at 401 Sergeant. Ed Holcomb Boulevard South in Conroe. It’s a free event. If you need more info, go to cityofconroe.org.
H-E-B will present KidzFest on April 27th from 10 AM to 4 PM at Heritage Place at 500 Collins Street in Conroe. They will have activities for the kids, of course, along with food and vendors. Check the event out at cityofconroe.org.
Event sponsors Dirt Pile Creative and Steven S. Collier are offering the 4th Annual Texas Mini Golf Championship. Optional practice will be April 27th at 8 AM. The championship will be held April 28th at 9 AM. It’ll be held at Longview Greens Mini Golf at 735 Clepper Drive in Montgomery. The pro entry fee is $75. The amateur entry fee is $25.
