Doxo, a bill payment software vendor, recently released a report called the: State by State Bill Pay Market 2024 report. Among other things, the report found that Texas is the #19 most expensive state for household bills. It also found that Huntsville is the #225 most expensive city in Texas for household bills. Additional doxoINSIGHTS findings include:
- On average, residents of Texas spend $2,208 per month on the 10 most common household bills, 4% higher than the national average of $2,046.
- Huntsville pays $1,779 per month on the ten most common household bills. This is 16% lower than the national average of $2,046, and 19% lower than the state average of $2,208.
- Huntsville households spend 47% of their income on household bills.
