Boys & Girls Club Summer Camp

Registration for the Boys & Girls Club Summer Camp is open for currently enrolled members. Annual membership dues are $20 per child. Summer camp fee is $30 per week/per child – payable by the month. SHSU Bearkats’ 2016 football season are now available

Season tickets for the SHSU Bearkats’ 2016 football season are now available. Season tickets for the 6 Kat home games – including the annual “Battle of the Piney Woods” contest against Stephen F. Austin at NRG Stadium in Houston – range from $110 to $275. The Sam Houston football season begins Sept. 3 at Bowers Stadium against Oklahoma Panhandle State – and will also include home games against Abilene Christian, Texas Southern, McNeese State & Central Arkansas. Head Start Child Development Center- register for 2016-17 school year

Huntsville’s Head Start Child Development Center is currently accepting applications for the 2016-2017 school year. Children must be 3- or 4-years-old by Sept. 1, be a member of a low-income family, or be a child with special needs. Head Start offers a full-day program each weekday at no cost to families with a nutritious breakfast, lunch & snacks. 3rd annual Bearkat Invitational Golf Tournament

June 6

SHSU’s 3rd annual “Bearkat Invitational Golf Tournament” is set for June 6 at Jack Nicklaus’ signature course at The Club at Carlton Woods in The Woodlands. Funds raised will benefit the Bearkat Champions advancement program. Entry fees for the tournament begin at $300 per individual. This is the sole golf outing hosted by the SHSU athletic department and supports all 17 Bearkat intercollegiate sports. For more information call (936) 294-2362.
