In Huntsviile Police news looking back over several days:
On Saturday, an unknown suspect displayed a firearm in a robbery in the 200 block of State Highway 75 North. Huntsville PD assisted Trinity PD with a shooting investigation after the victim had arrived at Huntsville Memorial by personal vehicle. In an aggravated assault, a known suspect discharged a firearm toward a victim in the 1500 block of Windwood.
On Sunday, an unknown suspect assaulted a victim by offensive touch in the 2600 block of 11th Street. In the 1100 block of Sleepy Hollow Drive, a known juvenile took a victim’s vehicle without consent. A vehicle burglary was investigated in the 1300 block of Smither Drive. In the 100 block of I-45 Northbound, Luis Rodriguez Pena was arrested for Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle.
On Monday, a known person interfered with child custody in the 100 block of I-45 North. Money was reported stolen in the 2800 block of Sam Houston Avenue. Items were reported stolen in the 800 block of Broadmoor Drive. In the 600 block of 6th Street, Trevion Byrd was arrested for unlawful carrying of a weapon, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
On Wednesday in the 1900 block of Fairway Drive, an unknown person stole a person’s vehicle keys. At State Highway 19 and Old Phelps Road, a vehicle caused another vehicle to run off the roadway and strike a barrier. No injuries were reported.
Early Thursday morning, Stephen Esparza was arrested for the unlawful carrying of a weapon and DWI in the 1100 block of I-45 South.
